Are you sure you have iridium plugs if not you should find out? I believe in 2013 you could also have the older copper plugs that require changing every 30,000 miles or so.

Also on this subject. Information regarding the E-3 plugs in our Hemi's? Snake oil, marketing nonsense or practical and useful choice??

I'd like to run iridium plugs as well but I'm not sure if it is worth it. I had iridium plugs in my street bike and could tell a huge difference though. Might just have to try it out

^^^this, depends on the 2013 model, they apparently swapped to iridium on late 2013 models. I don't know when exactly... Ddon't put iridium in if you have copper unless you swap coil packs, so they say!

I have a 2014 1500 with the 5.7L engine.
I recently did the spark change and used champion iridium plugs. The ones that came out were the ngk’s.

I am now getting 3-4 mpg less then I was getting with the original plugs. Not getting any codes and didn’t chance the coils.

I guess my question is, can the brand plug make that much of a difference or should I be looking elsewhere. By the way I changed them at 130,000 miles, just never got to it and the truck was running fine.

It's been pretty much established, replace with OEM. As stated, sometime in 2013 they switched plugs and coils. As for E3 plugs, some have tried them and had issues. Had to change out to OEM plugs.

I had a 2013 that was totaled by a red-light running semi-truck, and now have a 2014.

The 2013 was built in the very early part of 2013, so probably a middle of the model year production. It had copper plugs, I checked.
The 2014 is a late 2014, and it has iridium plugs.

E3 plugs are mostly marketing. I've heard of very few to no good results with pretty much any Ram from 2nd Gen (1994-2001), with the ol' Magnum engines, all the way to the 2018s. Haven't heard of any issues with the 2019 Rams, but they haven't been around long enough to need spark plug replacements yet. Personally, as the Hemi is mostly unchanged in the 2019s other than eTorque, I doubt the E3 plugs will work well in them either.

As others said, I'd advise to stick with NGK iridium plugs, or OEM, which are also NGK iridium plugs.

I
think i have been told the E3 plugs do well in 4 cyl engines.
