Speaker Depth

Hey guys will I be ok mounting a 2.75 depth speaker in the front doors?

If you can't fit it in make a spacer and you will have enough depth for 3" for sure.

Gonna be close. My components are 2 and 7/16 deep with a big motor. I have them in a scosche 6x9 adapter plate that is roughly 1/8th thick and I bottom out on the window structure. The speakers are not centered in the adapter, they are either closer to top or bottom with the opposite side for a tweeter. When the woofer was on the bottom of the adapter it would not fit, but flipped over it is fine.

Anything under 3" will be fine. My 6x9's are 2 7/8" and work perfectly.
