Splice Connection ?

I have a light up Hitch cap in the mail ! Instead of plugging into the 4 wire socket I was looking for a coupling/splice kit! Is this what I need to plug into the bumper socket and use the pigtail to plug in ?

Anything better ? Easier ? I prefer not cutting into the wire harness ! THANKS

That is what I used to plug in my tailgate led bar to keep the plugs on the back of the truck open. Easy install, works fine.

@Rado Yes on Curt Manufacturing. I bought that or similar 7pin adaptor that pigtails into the factory 7pin and delivers both a 7 and 4pin with plenty of slack to do whatever you want with it. I did this to run my Putco brake light bar.

It rocks, but aesthetically, the turn signals are amber not red. I don’t see it, so I don’t care, lol. Others who purchased have differing opinions.
