So going down the highway a few day ago and a cement truck goes by and sprays some water with cement residue on my truck. Not thinking much of it at the time as it looked like just colored water, I now find that it's dried cement dust. I can razor blade it off the windows, but on the paint I have tried washing and scrubbing it off but when it dries the spots are still there.

So what is the best way to remove this stuff without hurting the paint?

Factory paint, just a year old. Just don't want to make a mistake that does any damage.

^^^^^ This

Here is an answer I got from autopia, when I ask the question over there.

"Soak a towel(s) in vinegar and apply to the spots. Refresh vinegar if they dry. After 10 minutes spray with a hose and the spot should rinse right off."

Use white vinegar. I work with concrete for a living.
