spring cleaning

did some spring cleaning to the truck today.

I finally made up my mind and took the hemi badge off the fender so the only badge left on the truck is the one on the grill which will be gone soon for a black one. And I cleaned up the exhaust tips which the winter roads killed. they had surface rust all over them but they look pretty good now. I also decided it was time to put the recon led light bar on

I should have taken these off a long time ago lol

Howd you take the surface rust off? Mine has it too and i hate it. Even though no one can see it, i know its there. Lol

Mothers aluminum polish and it wipes right off. It took less then 5 minutes a little more time and I'm sure they'll look like new. I'll probably do the rest of the tips sometime even though no one can see them under the truck but o well lol

It might sound wierd...but wipe them down with cooking spray (dont spray it directly on the tips) and they will be easier to clean...

My stainless tips are cleaned with soap n water then dried and then wiped down with some WD-40.

Good question lol I bought it in January, I think it was around $70 a little more expensive when it has the white LEDs for reverse
