You can hook up the wires and such but once you program the truck all of the emissions equipment needs to be removed.

It's recommended to make sure the tuner or down-loader works first. Then go about doing the deletes. It's been known to happen where guys will delete the truck first, then load the tuning. The tuning will have issues and your stuck without a truck for the weekend until you get a hold of tech support Monday. Of course when you load the tuning first don't drive or start your diesel rig until the deletes are done.
