Steering wheel hard to turn after new rack and alignment

Hi all, yesterday I got finished installing a new power steering rack in my truck. I did my best to do an alignment after, but it wasn’t great. So today I took it over to the shop to get it aligned. When I left the shop it was definitely aligned better, but the steering wheel feels quite a bit harder to turn. It didn’t feel that hard after just installing the rack. It was only after the alignment that I noticed it. Do any of you guys know why that would be? Thanks
