Supercharging 5.7

I'm wondering if a hell cat supercharger will fit my 2016 Ram R/T, the guy selling the supercharger claims it fits a 5.7 or a 6.4. Can someone help me out?

Not sure if a true Hellcat supercharger, which is designed for a 6.2L Hellcat engine, will fit a 6.4 or a 5.7. Its not originally designed to, thats for sure.

If he literally said "Cherokee 5.7 or 6.4" like it states in your other thread, he's probably yanking your chain. The Grand Cherokee had the options, but the Cherokee never did. If he doesn't pay attention to details like Cherokee vs Grand Cherokee, or worse, doesn't know the difference, I wouldn't deal with him.

i dont know for sure but I dont think that will bolt right in and be plug and play

Hellcat engine has different heads i believe. So, it wont work.

If you are to supercharger the engine, get one designed for for the 5.7 hemi.

The Hellcat's headunit will not fit on any 6.4L, 6.1L, or 5.7L heads. The only way to get it to work is to run a set of Thitek heads that have been machined for the 6.2L's head port and bolt pattern. There is also a difference in the offset of the pulleys from the engine block

Alot of hellcat guys are going with a big whipple

You do realize the factory 5.7 has 10.5 compression right? Even at 8 lbs of boost its asking for trouble.
