This is abit of a weird problem. But a good one I think... My last truck didn't have them. But when I got mine 2015 tradesman 3500 srw ccsb it was in the evic screen with the tire pressures... Now here's where it gets interesting... I was goofing around with my pressures so it would ride a wee bit smoother but not set off the sensors... Couple months later I'm flipping threw the evic screen... No tire pressures.... No screen..... So out of curiosity I dropped the rear tires to 50psi..... No idiot light... No messages... Nothing..... I'm not complaining.... But how???

That is odd...

If it was a sensor one would show bad and a red indicator would light up.

If it was the transponder you'd have all four tire measurements showing -- and all 4 red indicators would be lit.

That's what I mean. It's like it was totally taken off the truck. The window for it is gone and all?? I'm not complaining... Only thing that happened. It was in the body shop due to dealer damage I found after I got home back in March. They didn't work on it till April. They had the battery undone being they had to repaint both passenger doors... I wonder if that reset the computer and it missed the sensors some how??? I know gm you can undo the battery. Pull fuses for the the back up sensors. Leave the fuse out. Put battery cable back on. And the computer won't see the back up sensors and won't give you any problems with them anymore

Some of the functions in the DIC you can "scroll" from side to side. They are indicated by the round circles up top. I had forgotten about that and found all kinds of cool stuff a few months after I bought my truck. I'm trying to remember but I think the tire pressure is one of them. As you scroll up/down through the various things look for the circles at the top. The one you're on will be filled in and the others will be just an outline of a circle.

Checked the fuse. It's a 10amp and it's not blown. No idiot lights. And here's a quick video flipping threw the menus

Ahhh - didn't even think to ask which DIC version. Mine is an 8.4 and that looks like the 5.0 - different menu setup.

Yeah. 5.0 radio normal tradesman dash. I went from a fully loaded Chevy to a tradesman. Lol

I have seen others with this problem on Cummins forum. I don't think anyone has figured out why and a fix for it.

I don't want a fix. I just want to know how. So if they ever turn back on. I can turn them back off

I think it's a glitch either in the evic or with the tpms
