I've seen that truck around town. lol. I've also seen the same truck, totalled in the spaldings wrecking yard. they have a couple tricked out trucks running around, and one of them apparently tried to fight with a cliff. the cliff won....no one got hurt though.

Hmmm...

Here you go gasoline here in Idaho is $4.229 and diesel is $4.559 first thought every says "Gas is cheaper drive a gasser!" wrong... I'll prove it.

Using my 2 trucks. 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 and 2002 Dodge Ram 2500

2002 Dodge Cummins - 22 MPG - $4.559
22 MPG x 35 Gallons = 770 Miles to Empty
$4.559 / 22 MPG = $0.20 per mile

1996 Dodge Ram - 15 MPG - $4.229
15 MPG x 35 Gallons = 525 Miles To Empty
$4.229 / 15 MPG = $0.28 per mile

Hands down the diesel is more efficient. :naughty:

If you guys are looking to compare efficiencies check out fuelly.com, its the most accurate way of finding real avg mpg's of vehicles give or take (driving conditions, terrain etc. ) that I have found
ram 2500-http://www.fuelly.com/car/dodge/ram%202500
Ram 1500- Dodge Ram 1500 MPG Reports | Fuelly
In most cases a 3rd or 4th gen 1500 is going to be more efficient then a 2500

I love my truck but I dd the jetta when I can. Its hard to beat 42-45 mpg out of the tdi! Its still a diesel though... The truck does get much better smiles to the gallon though, and averages about 18mpg with all the crud I have done to it.
