So I am getting ready to start ripping apart the truck to install the new stereo and am quickly realizing I lack even a basic mechanics toolbox/toolkit.

Any recommendations on a mechanics kit for taking apart the door panels, dash, seats? Under $150 would be ideal. Thanks!

Make sure you get a torx head kit. I think the door handles take a t-35 or T-40 head to remove the handle. Other then that the doors only take a philips and a few small sockets. To remove the seats you need remove the center jumpseat. Try to get a 13mm ratcheting wrench. It will make life a lot easier. You might need a 3/8 or 1/2 breaker bar to get the large seat bolts loose. And they take a bigger torx head as well, not sure what size.
