TPMS sensors

I'm receiving some OEM sensors that I ordered off of Ebay today for my rims when they come in.

Is their anyway for me to test these sensors before installing and mounting everything to the vehicle?

It would suck to install and mount tires and setup on the truck to find out I have a bad sensor.

Hold by hand with a strong magnet and try to pair them? Any ideas?

Discount tire checked mine with a hand held device at the counter when I got my new wheels/tires ( I provided the sensors )

Jack up the truck take the tires off and move them away and try and bring the sensors to close proximity of the vehicle. Should relearn after a few minutes.
