Were do the senders go for these gauges? I know the transmission goes in test port 3, but where is that? And no idea on the oil pressure.

Transmission oil pressure or temp? Engine oil pressure will go where the current sending unit is and you'll need to find an adapter that will allow you to use both.

Engine oil pressure, and transmission temperature. On Silverbullets DIY it says to use test port #3 on the transmission, but I have no idea where that is, and I can't find a lone bolt on the transmission anywhere.

Thanks, will be getting a t-fitting tomorrow to use both, its the sensor just above the filter, correct?

Yeah, the oil pressure sending unit is above the filter. I've not seen a trans temp setup that goes into a pressure port like that. All the ones I ever say went in the pan. I'm curious to see one.

How do you put one into the pan? What does that require? I just want the sensor somewhere to work. Lol.

Everything on the gauge is done. Literally, on all my gauges. Just have to put the sensor in place, and plug it in. But having trouble finding where to put the transmission temp sensor.

All I ever used were mechanical gauges that installed in the pan. They required drilling a hole and installed much like a coolant temp gauge.

Just read this:

Says the test ports are the worst, gives some tips on where to install it. Maybe randy can chime in with a good sport.

What is the easiest way to do this, or have it done?

Easiest? Have it done professionally.

That is what I mean. Haha. What shops will do this? And will the transmission fluid have to be drained?

Well. I have called about 6 transmission and performance shops around here. All have said they don't do that. Any suggestions?
