Fender flares and steps coming off tonight. Got a buyer lined up for them already.

3/2/17 update
Flares, steps, and spacers off... Can't do anything else until I get all those sold to get my tires and get them swapped out. Stay tuned!

4wd I take it? Which QA1 shocks are you going with? I didn't know McGaughy made front lowering springs for a 4wd. I have their 2" rear lowering springs on mine. But have been looking to go lower.

No, sorry. 2wd only here. I just like the lifted look. But now that it's lifted, I kinda miss the way my 2013 looked lowered, so I decided I'm going back that route.

You're doing kind of the reverse of what I thought I might do. I lowered my truck first with the intention of leaving an option open to lift it later. Speaking of which, are you going to try selling some of your previous setup here on the forum?

Yeah, I kinda wanted to go that route with my 2013 before I traded it for this one. So I had a new truck and decided to go up. Now I want back down. Lol!

Yeah. I took some stuff off that I could (stuff listed in first post with sold next to it) so I can afford my new tires. Once they on I can take off my lift. Gonna try and sell local first cuz shipping gonna suck, but I'll have my tires (roughly 6000 miles on them), my lift (about 10,000 miles on it), control arms (passenger side about 5000 miles, driver side brand new in the box), and spacers (about 6000 miles on them).

Gonna try and take the spacers off tonight if I have time.

well that's one extreme to another :roflsquared:

I've always kinda thought 2wd = lowered 4wd = lifted....
Pre-runners are the exception but it better be a built pre-runner that can run.....

Take lots of pictures of how the front turns out, as this is something similar to what I plan to do to correct the front camber issue and lack of travel with my springs being cut so low.....

Gonna basically look like this. Only difference is this setup I just cut my front stock springs down 2" with the McGaughy front spindles. Plus I'm going with a 31" tall tire instead of the stock 33's. Was rubbing top of fender liner when hitting bumps.

Not really an update to the lowering, but an update to something that was already in the works. Got rid of all my chrome caps from Billet Technology and went with white!

P.S. don't mind the dirty engine bay. I work 7 days a week, hard to keep a truck clean, lol!

Not too shabby.....did you replace the chrome ones or just paint them yourself?

Completely replaced them, and ordered a few more pieces. Didn't previously have the throttle body cover or the hood struts. I would have never been able to keep the chrome etching in them if I painted them myself. I'm not that talented. Lol!

Ah, well they're very nice. I dig the catch can and hood struts the best. Black and white contrast is pretty cool.
