Hey all, I've been looking at purchasing a 2" leveling kit for my 2014 2WD recentely and am interested in the one by Truxxx. It states that it comes with shock extensions so I don't have to replace any suspension components. I have seen with others that they do require new shocks or upper control arms aswell to avoid any ball joint issues.
Before I buy I just wanted to get some opinions and see if anybody uses the Truxxx spacers? And would I be able to run it safely by just using the shock extensions that the kit comes with? I don't off-road or anything, I'll just be driving it on the street.

Thanks in advance!

Yes I've seen those kits, Maxtrac makes a kit with new springs and shocks, they are probably just longer. You can use the factory shocks with the Truxx, just shock extenders fix that.
The UCA is mainly for 4x4's, not 2WD's

I know this is an old thread BUT... I want to level my truck unto 2"-2.5" nothing to crazy. I have been reading I will need to replace the UCA, but yesterday at a truck store the guy said i would NOT need to replace the UCA because i have a 2WD. Is there any truth to this? This is the first i am hearing about not having to replace the UCA with a level/lift. I want to do it right but i also want to do it cheap.
What way did you end up going with the Truxxx or Maxtrac (but that is a bottom control arm level)?
