Iam seeing 2 different part numbers for these springs, TTC-1223 and TTC-1223,V,
question do these give the same lift empty ? and what longer shocks is everyone using with these springs since they give over 2" of lift.
Coming out of a 2500 I am going to ad these and some lift on the front so I have more of a heavy half with this 1500.
Thanks
1223 is for carrying a load, constantly, like the pickup bed popup camper, shown above.
1223V is a variable rate spring. top end of the spring is OEM rate of compression, so you retain the soft OEM ride. as weight is added, that spring compresses darn near as fast as the OEM SPring, However, as more weight is added, it stiffens up.
coming from a 2500, imagine you will prefer the 1211 springs.
Constant linear rate of compression, not variable. so less sag, from the git go. You will lose the OEM squishy ride but I prefer my ride, now, with these springs. Truck feels much more planted, as I go over uneven surfaces .
much less body roll.
Give tuftruck a call, not their Retail Reps, SD Springs. but tuftruck themselves, up in Canada. They will tell you what the recommend, after learning your situation and needs. super nice folks to deal with.
