Yeah I've got the 3.6 3.55 and its great for me and i still tow up to 3,000 lbs fairly frequently. But Sprintex does make a supercharger kit for the v6

Rumor is they are working on it for the Jeeps. No reason why it wouldn't make its way into the Rams too.

I think I read somewhere on Google they're were thinking of adding a turbo to the 3.6l for the 2018 1500

    3.6 Pentastar
The 3.6 was engineered with boost in mind. It has oil squirters to help keep temps down on the pistons and reduce detonation, and 6 bolt mains to help keep the crank from walking. I believe a twin turbo 3.6 would whoop up on an ecoboost.

I would like to see them make a v8 based on the pentastar.

Yet another rumor I've seen floating around a few forums, where they are going to replace the Hemi with a slightly smaller displacement V8 based on the Pentastar V6.

Basically, it sounds like we'll have a Ford style setup for our options. V6, turbo (or twin turbo) V6, or small V8. I believe I saw a few places the "4.8L V8" size mentioned, but can't find any real facts to back it up.

I'd definitely look forward to both of those power plants. But I hear FCA is stocked up on hemi motors until 2018... also im kind of frustrated that an update for the ram hasn't even been officially released... this generation has been around for a long while
