My vin works fine for the 17 update. Its canadian VIN, so check uconnect canadas website for links

Dont like the update though, moved the cell phone signal down from the top right to the logo, kinda annoying

I believe he's referring to the icon itself changing.

Tried rockstars vin on my 2016 us ram.it said for ra3 target is ra4 or something to that effect.so ra3 and ra4 use differant software.trying a differant Canadian vin from a larimine but the two dealer sites I used didn't show window stickers so I, m hoping the truck had nav.

16my ra4 vin 1c6rr7pt7gs341505.it works on my 2016 infotainment upgraded ra4.however for what I use my radio for I can't tell the differance.was kinda hoping my sd card icon would pop up but its in the bcm I quess and I'm not paying 199.99 for a sd slot.really waiting for the 13 14 update to see exactly what it does.

Definitely shows as a RA4 download. Canadian Longhorn, build sheet has it at Zone 25-Canada-Alberta

Model year 2013 and 2014.was just interested what the new update would add to the earlier models. supposedly album art and the drag function .only problem I had with my radio is I had to restert the upgrade process when it got to the aircard part.i don't know if it was due to me being in the garage or the fact my radio is in a non factory 8.4 truck .once I moved out of the garage it updated with out issue.

I thought album art wasn't introduced Untill the 2015 RA4'S ?
I had a 14 without , I purchased a 15 RA4 & it has the album art .
Maybe you got a late year 14 Ram with a 15 RA4 ?
Did you purchase your 14 new ?

LOL my wife has a 16 Challenger RT Plus LOADED ! Hers has album art and pretty much everything else to include the sunroof factory installed.

Guys, do not use the RA4 update, something isn't right. I tried it on mine, download was fine, plug it in, does a check and says it's a valid update image would I like to go to 17. Choose yes, it reboots and starts going thru these Unit numbers, mine makes it to Unit 4 of 15 then reboots, done it multiple, multiple times. Tried turning off the truck, nada, radio keeps trying to update. Tried both button reset, still tries to update. Pulled the USB, complains looking for USB. Tries truck off, no usb, both buttons, stuck in an upgrade loop. Any suggestions? I thought I saw a post a couple days ago with someone having the same issue, damned if I can find that post now tho...

Hang on a minute, while scouring the internet trying to find a fix it somehow finished Unit 4 and is now on Unit 7. Something funky with Unit 4, rebooted at least 6 times, lost count. Will update as it goes.

It's chugging away, up to Unit 11. Hoping it was just a multi Unit 4 thing. Broyd below had the same thing which in encouraging!

Rest of the Units went fine, system rebooted. Everything working fine. Heck, even Assist is working now, don't know if it did before tho, never tried it. Whoop!

Mine did that as well but I let it run. Mine went though unit 4 about 3 times and rebooted each time and then it went through the rest of the stages and completed OK. I did not get all of the messages that the documentation suggested you should but the unit seems fine.

Just for reference, if it does get stuck in a reboot loop I was able to stop the problem on older firmware by plugging the USB directly into the radio with a micro USB adapter.
