Hello, Considering converting my 95 3500 from auto to manual. I do a lot of towing and trans has performed with no issues do far. But I prefer a manual. Has anyone tried this or is it too impractical? Looking for opinions before I get serious. many thanks.

Get the nv4500 out of a broke down cummins and change the clutch and flywheel. Get the master cylinder and pedal assembly. Not an overly complicated swap

Thanks for reply, I assume clutch & bell from a V-10, trans from a cummins...any worries about electronics, computer, etc? Need speedo & tach to still work. Thanks.

As long as the vss is in the tail housing it should not be an issue for the speedo.

You'll need a manual truck crank sensor, bell housing for v10 and cummins is the same but you'll need a v10 flywheel.

I only mention cummins because GENERALLY they're more common. However, the nv4500 wss also as option for v10s and if you can find a v10 parts truck you'll be golden
