I was wanting a better, smoother, less rough ride.

So I found the specs on the shocks.

Rancho RS9000 Shock Specifications

Part # extended collapsed top mont lower mount
RS9117 19.30 11.92 S1 EB1

So I am looking for a shock that is comparable to the rancho 9000 shocks that I have currently. Looking for any and all pointers.

I'll check specs on some Monroe's tomorrow at work and see if I can't find ya a set of their Reflex or Sensa-Tracs

everything I hear about the bilstiens is that they are kinda rough on 1/2 tons. If you have the rancho 9000s you have some of the better shocks

Not the 9000s, that is the adjustable one right? I just have the 9000. Non adjustable. I wonder if that would help? Also, on the rear do you think I would loose some of the stiffness with removing the dual shocks? Fake dual shock set up, come to find out later.

Another idea going through my head. Would the coils make the ride more rough due to them sagging an inch? I am just trying to think out loud guys. Thanks for all the help thus far.

coils could be getting old and that could very well be the reason the ride is getting a little rougher.
