Just and FYI, any components that you want to protect you should paint with a rubberized under-coating paint. I sprayed the whole underside of my truck, rear axle, diff, frame, control arms - everything that was not a moving part, and it survived a very bad winter here in the northeast. Not one bit of it had peeled off and no rust..

Nice write up btw

Edit: why did you replace the UCA's?

I only replaced the UCA For cheep insurance due to a few reports of upper ball joints popping up after a level ( I think the levels that caused this wer spacer kits ? ) nevertheless @ $49.00 ea for beefier UCAs with greasable ball joints , and I was gonna have the Balljoint loose for the bils 5100 install so it was literally 2ea more bolts ..
Cheep insurance. ..

I folllowed that video. I believe he over toques his sway bar links. But otherwise a good video. Oh and awesome truck!!
I agree on the tq of the sway bar , I didn't actually disconnect my sway bar , just loosened it up and pushed the lower arm down by hand to aid in installing the Bilstein strut assy .
He also did not clearly show the install of the flat washer prior to installing the upper spring seat , and NOT under the nut on the very top holding the assy together .
My advice to anyone installing bilsteins shocks .....look at the instructions sheet with the Bilsteins and make sure you install the flat washer in the proper location !
Installing the flat washer under the top nut has been reported to causing a clunking sound after a while .
Hope this helps !

Not sure if your housings are blacked out or not, or if its the lighting. But your truck would look sick with dark headlights..
It's just the lighting , mine are the chrome ones , I want dark ones sooooo bad , it's on my list for sure , I'm saving for a lift ,tires & wheels though !

Just bake em and spray. if you screw it up then it gives you a legit reason to buy them lol. Get some Depos on Ebay I think they are like 200-250.. but again.. only if you break em

I would allow all day , but if your familiar with this type of work then about 4 hours , the first Side took me about 2.5 hrs , the second about 1.5 hrs I also rotated my tires in this process , I was using Jacks and stands by myself ...

You don't have to change UCA'S, I did for cheep insurance.
I do feel the Mevotecs are considerably stout er than stock ...

Hope this helps !

Black/darker headlights would look really good!
I have to ask, how did you take the first picture, it's tripping me out.
The UCA'S are hanging from my deck .by wire , I'm standing under my deck . Lol i.never thought about it till you said something .
It kinda looks like they are suspended in mid air...

I used this video when doing my install recently and it was very helpful. However, on my '09 it was a bit of a booger as I had to work the drivers side a bit to get it LCA mount. As a result, the CV slid out of its seat and I had to tend to that to get it back in. Somewhere in the process i guess that punctured the boot and so I had to repair that the next weekend.

Thanks buddy , I'm still liking your Fox shocks with the external reservoirs!
When I install my 6" lift I may do the Fox set up then ,but I'll probably wait till I need new shocks because in very happy with my bilsteins for now .
Like you though Sir , if I end up with any Rake at all with the 5" rear coils I'll install the taller Fox shocks immediately ! Lol I can't stand Rake ....

Look what I'm installing right now !
It's the RED Billet under the hood dress up kit I got off " Pull Ya " a member here .
