Ok so here I go I recently bought a 2007 dodge ram 1500 hemi. I'm having some serious issues with it that keep coming up ever 600 miles or so. When I bought it I was failed to be informed that the water pump and radiator were replaced. Then about 4 days after the buy the truck started fluctuating the temp due to loss of coolant. So I brought it back they added coolant to the truck along with a new power steering cooler as well. Then about 5 days later I went out west of New York about 4 hours away from home when the water pump that was already replaced blew out the gasket. So the mechanics out there who were friendly enough to deal with the headache of the warranty company had replaced the water pump with one that costs about 200+ bucks. Then about 4 more days after I was having the fluctuations in temperature again and now no heat. Then I brought it to my mechanic who discovered the thermostat was bad and **** the bed hence the loss of coolant cause it was coming out of the overflow tank. Now about 13 days later the water pump that was just replaced **** the bed and blew out the top portion of the water pump gasket. I'm under the impression the heads are bad and they are doing everything but checking the heads properly. If anyone can tell me what they think on the whole issue cause seems like my luck and patience are running thin for this truck and I live 1500 Hemi's without a doubt but I've never heard of this kinda **** happening.
I did do a coolant flush on the truck with new spark plugs and a new coil pack on cylinder 7. And I used zerek g-05 coolant which is HOAT coolant. Please someone help me understand this issue please.
