As most already know, I was in a serious accident right before Christmas. Luckily I survived although my Ram did not. Picked up a 2018 Accord 2.0t Touring to hold me over. I was going to use this until the 2020 Ram were made available . Then pass that on to our oldest at home daughter for college.

Sadly due to my injuries from that accident, I can not tolerate driving the Accord on a day to day basis. Nor can I wait until 2020 for the Ram. I’ve decided to park the Accord and get a 2018 Ram instead.

Now my must have according to my reads lol.
3.92 gears
5.7 Hemi ( again )
4x4 as NJ is noooo joke
Best lighting that I can
Crew cab ( family of four )

Outside of that anything else is just icing on the cake.

I will be doing the following after the purchase.

New exhaust ( I’m an exhaust addict )
F&R outside cameras ( parking safety )
Pedal Commander
Ceramic coating
Amp research powered steps
Tint matching
Tonneau cover
SQ sound system / complete deadening

Here’s the Accord and here is the Legacy that I’ll drive until I pick out my new truck.

According to my current testing, I have a ways to go and lowering myself in and out of the Accord is not helping sadly.

Cant wait to see it, you last ram looked great for the age/mileage. You may look at the edge pulsar in place of the pedal commander. It has a few more options.

Whatever you have to tell the wife to get her on board with a new truck. Can't wait to see the end result. Your last rig was about perfect to my taste.

Just be careful getting in and out of the truck. I know there's been a couple of times I stepped out and had my knee go pop.

Off-topic, and ya can pm it instead if ya like, how's p/t, etc going?

That would be perfect as some of these dealers ha e lost their minds for what they want for a 2018. Told the one I could get a 2019 for that with MORE features !

I have a similar constraint. I had an operation on my side, I was having a hard time getting in and out of my Challenger so had to sell it. Oddly enough for me the lifted truck was easier. The Amp steps help tremendously I recommend you get some installed, they drop lower than conventional side steps yet tuck up when the doors are closed. They have a wide sturdy step that supports 600lbs/side

Hope you heal and recover in a timely fashion DRKNESS!! I totally get the hassle getting in and oit of a car. Wife's pasat is a challenge for me to slide in n oit of and I'm not wounded as you are! Just an old and creaky man...lol
Add the Edge Pulsar to your list in tandem with the Pedal comm. The two together are awsome!!
Good luck in your quest to replace the ram and heal well and soon

Drkness, not sure if it would help, but when i messed up my back driving my chevy cruze was hell. I got a foam cushion that was about two inches thick, and it helped alot. Side note, i might be getting towards middle age, but i like the way that legacy looks. Anyways, heres the cushion i got.
