I currently have a 5 or 6" suspension lift. I don't know what brand. Possibly rough country. I want to lower it a bit but still fit a 315 70 17 tire. I want to go back to stock height in the rear. What do I need in the front? Bilstein 2" lift shock with a new 2" lift coil? Can someone give me some ideas. Thank you!

2.5" coils and 2" shocks? Everything else stock? Will that work?

I'm no longer going to lower the suspension. I'm going to update the steering compnents and get new shocks. I will let you all know how it works out for this 03

Sorry no one hit this thread yet! Steering parts are easy to find in good quality. As per your first question the 2003 (I'm assuming you've got a 1500 here) uses torsion bars, so likely different keys and different shocks to lower as well as removing anything that was used to lower the front subframe.

That makes life a LOT easier. You'd only need a set of springs and shocks for the front (You may have to remove brackets that lowered the sway bar or get short end links again), and simply removing lift blocks in the rear!
