What dont you like about your gen 3

4th gen has all the fun threads so im stealing them, so what DONT you like about your gen 3?

I dont like that my quad cab is really just a extended cab with four door handles

The QC is a little bigger than an extended cab...

I don't like that the 545RFE is a POS transmission that fails so easily with anything much beyond stock power levels.

You can polish a ****, just don’t pretend you have anything more then a shiny ****.

Forgot about the cracked dash since I already replaced mine. Changing the plugs is a PITA too.

I just sold my '08, the thing I didn't like about it most was the dull grey interior.
Even the Laramie models had the dull grey interior with a couple of cheesy plastic wood trim pieces that looked completely of place.

It's a Megacab so the extra room inside the cab is nice but I really miss having an 8 ft box.

Squeaky noises when ball joints go out and cracked up dash also driver seat they need to make stronger seats lol and can’t forget that not so nice beige interior with gunmetal exterior what were you thinking should of been black or atleast grey lol

i lost count on my rams, i know my dad had 250k on his 05 and went through 4 sets of endlinks and only one set of ball joints, to me the endlinks should last just as long as your ball joints

Many I forgot about that people brought up lol. The dull grey interior, how the driver seat rips apart, and changing the plugs is a PITA.

oh they do, i dont think this thread is a "I hate my ram" kind of thing, the little problems dont mean nothing to me, ill fix them some way some how lol, but i Love my 3rd gens, and im always looking to add more to my fleet of trucks

Woooooo wo wo man i absofuckinglutely LOOOOOOOOVE my 3rd gen. My phone has gone through a 64gb sd card full of nothing but my trucks pictures and videos lol, this truck will NEVER be sold it is my casket, my best friend, my lover lol this truck is my baby and love it to death!!!!! This thread is basically if there is anything at all that you dont really like about it, what is it? thats all. Can say it doesnt get 30 miles to the gallon city if thats what you dont like lol or nothing at all. We all love our 3rd gens man

I’m also guess with the truck being lifted and extra stress on them don’t help either

Really there not bad if they were in a tan truck but I think the card trucks should have dark interior to me it blends better I just hate how dirty it gets and so fast

Oh hell yeah with all my problems I wouldn’t think twice about buying another 3 rd gen I love my ram and I wouldn’t have it any other way Ram for life here!! Lolplus when there’s nothing to do on the truck it gets boring fixing all those little things keeps the spark alive kind of like how it is with the wife hahahaha
