I have an 01 Ram 1500 with the off road package. I have 06 Ram 20x9 aluminum rims on it and just got 35x12.50x20 tires and a 2" leveling kit for it. Wondering if anybody would happen to know what thickness of a wheel spacer I'd need to prevent rubbing...also, do I need longer control arms for a leveling kit on top of the factory off road lift? If so, I'd assume same thing for the track bar? Not sure if the off road package came with anything different in the suspension to compensate for the 1.5"-2" factory lift...any help is appreciated!

Can't help you with the spacers but it will really look a lot better on your new tires than those stupid low profile tires. It's going to feel sluggish with difference in tire size. Re-gearing may be in order.

Yea those are the factory 275/60/20's (33's) on there now....they look even smaller with the 2nd gens bigger, open wheel wells and the factory lift. I'm hoping having the off road packages 4:10 gearing and the 5 speed manual I'll be alright stepping up to the 35's.

Those street tires didn't look that tall. I think you might be ok with 4.10 gears. That's what I had installed and I run 285/75/16 tires. It was like day and night from the original 3.54 gears.

You'll want control arms and track bar. They're the same as regular 1500s as are the shocks. Standard 1.5" or 2" spacers should do, get hubcentric for sure or you'll risk breaking studs.

Myself, i run 315/70/17 which basically comes out to a 34.5x12.5 and all i have is 2" level on 17x9 -12mm offset wheels. But my 4th gen bumper gives me more frontal clearance as well though im pretty sure a factory bumper wouldn't really change anything

Appreciate the input. Any idea how much longer I'd need the control arms and track bar to be? Or is a drop bracket what I'd need for the track bar?

You can use either. Myself i would get a set of 3" lift control arms or some adjustable ones

Awesome thanks. I snagged an adjustable track bar for $85 delivered, and a set of upper and lower tubular control arms for a 3" lift with bushings and sleeves for $160 delivered. Screamin deal IMO.
