What to expect for a price?

You will if its right under the cab. My current one is prob 2 inches from behind the cab and you can smell it sometimes, the new one will be back a few more inches.

Should I have them extend where the muffler is going to be when they put the piping and the muffler on? That way I can put the cutout a little more away from the cab?

Got the e-mail from Raceland..that was quick. "Thank you for bringing this to our attention, we've fixed the typo on the site and assure you the item you ordered is the 2.5" cutout.

I have mine right before the rear end so the muffler and cutout are under the bed and nowhere near the cab (relatively speaking). No issues with fumes coming into the cab like that and it helps with the little nit drone if there is any.

Yeah I'll see if they can bring the muffler away from the cab a bit more to make room for the cutout..there will probably be extra piping for that.

I'm gonna wait to put the cutout on. My neighbor said his garage is a mess so he needs to clean that up plus he said it will be better to just wait for the nice weather. So probably sometime in April. But the muffler and exhaust pipe will go on next week sometime from the shop.

I got a quote from my local muffler shop the other day to install a SI/DO Cherry Bomb Extreme...I initially was gonna buy the muffler from Summitt, but hell, he said he has them instock and would install it the way I want it for $200 out the door...
