Depends what you're gonna be towing; utility trailer/boat? Big travel trailer? Looks great if the first two. Unless they also have sway control available and your trailer is 25'+, I'd look for something with some sway control at least available after the fact. As tough as our trucks are, a big trailer presents a LOT of sidewall to the wind and passing traffic, and sway can be a real issue.

Today I had the bed full of 18" logs stack to top of cab and hooked up to a 8 x12 open trailer loaded full. Truck rear was about a half inch from rear tires. Pulled it great.

Biggest thing I've towed so far would be my wife's horses. The trailer is a three horse slant load that weighs 3500 by itself, one 900 pound horse and two other horses pushing 1200 each. My '12 1500 Express will pull it, but not without complaining. My gas mileage gets low...real low...

Just towed this 600 miles today for a family member up over 4000 feet of elevation climb. Pulled like a champ, really surprised me.

Looks like Victorville. Anyway, nice rig you got there.

I have pulled 30 foot 15,000 lb Mandako landrollers with my last 2 trucks. They are farm equipment but have highway tires and trail really nice.....have pulled them at speeds up to over 90 kms per hour to see how well they trail. Having no brakes back there, I didn't usually drive that fast or go far. My biggest fear was taking out the transmission or rear end. Another local guy took the tranny out of his GMC half ton pulling a somewhat lighter roller. I now hire someone else to tow or haul them.

It's a tossup haha. Either a tandem 12' UHaul trailer when I'd had the truck only a few weeks, or hauling my ass every day

21' tandem enclosed trailer with all my buddies belongings in it when he had to move to town... and then probably an Ingersoll Rand Hp220 air compressor/ Big blue 400 Diesel welder on trailer.

I'm new, not sure if I'm supposed to post this or not, but it's my truck and my baby camper (5,500lbs). I have also towed about a 12,000 lb. load of farm equipment on a deck over trailer and didn't have any problems though I don't think you'd want to do it for long. My 1500 has airbags, stage iv hitch, 3.92 gears, electronic stabilizer and I added a WDH as well. Tows like a pro. I went from a 2012 Ram 3500 and downsized due to I do a lot of work in the city and needed a smaller truck and I'm still happy with my decision.

Right at 7K. Towed like a champ. Even when the trailer brakes stopped working.

This is the largest so far. Weighs about 7500 dry. Overall the trailer is 35 feet from ball to spare tire.

Running Firestone airbags in the rear to keep it level - about 20 psi.

Kinda makes the truck look tiny!

35' Keystone Fuzion 301, 9000lbs dry with a tongue weight of 1500 lbs. I'm using a Huskey distribution hitch with a 1200 lb sway kit. Factory brake controller. I need air bags. That's next.
