Lol. Sometimes mine would take a few seconds after the screen first started yelling at me to actually show up in red.. but otherwise no. Does it just do it all the time on that tire now?

I've only driven it 4-5 times in the past month, but it has done it every time and stayed like that, sometimes the right front is even lower than the left but doesn't show up in red. Odd.

Yep mine does it. It was doing constantly there for awhile so I figured the sensor went bad. Next thing I know it was showing up red again. I want to say it is the same one as yours... front passenger side.

The tire pressures indicated are below the "low pressure warning" threshold on the TPMS.

Have you manually checked your tire pressures?

Cold weather = lower pressure. Got the same thing on my RAM and my wife's jeep last week (but Maine gets cold before NJ). I run 70 all around and they all said 59 - 62 on the first really cold morning.

I can't remember the last time I listened to Howard Stern. Is he still doing the same spiel these days that he did back on NY radio?

I think what the op is asking is why isn't the front right tire saying it's low as well...

Not sure what the thresholds on the 2500 are, on the 1500 it's 34psi IIRC. Once a tire goes below it a 'flag' is set and it keeps blinking even if the pressure goes above it. So I'd guess the right front was never below the threshold.

Edit: Found the threshold is 80% of the recommended pressure, which would be 52 psi for the fronts.

If the sensor is still correctly displaying the actual pressure in the tire then I would just chalk it up to an electrical gremlin.

I added some air in all four of my tires last weekend because it was getting friggin cold here and one sensor decided it wasnt going to update the pressure until i drove about 4 miles the next day. All the others updated real time as i pumped in air. Of course now that i added some extra air its been like 50 here every day since...

The fronts will show the cartoon like glowing pain red until they have 60 pounds in them, so there really is no explanation why his front pass is not showing red. I forget what the rears stop glowing at.

I did check them today 53 (FL) 54 (FR), so they are reporting correct(ish) pressures. Question is, why is one flagging low and the other not when they are the same pressure? I checked them before and they were always good down to about 52 before it would indicate low.

If the FL got down to 52, even for a second it would trip the warning and it's not going to go off until you air it up to 65.

Genius! Thanks man. That makes sense. I will air them up past 65 and then back down to 55 or so tomorrow and see what happens. I bet you're right. I appreciate it.

No problem. If you ever want to change the TPMS settings to a lower pressure, let me know. I've helped more than 75 people adjust their TPMS to a 'normal' level.

I've had this gremlin since I bought mine in 2014. The fronts call for 60 and the rears 80. On long camping trips everything is fine and at anytime the low pressure will show up and all four tires are reading correct pressures. I used to stop and check the tires with a gauge and they always showed correct pressure. Sometimes I have to drive hundreds of miles then the system will finally correct itself and shut off the warning.
On lowering the thresholds- I tried to pay my dealer to do that and they refused. Is there a way to do this without special equipment?
thanks

Mine likes to complain about one tire when the other tire is the same PSI.

LOL, yup, now I see it :) Still a mystery.
I don't think it's a mystery at all. See post #14.

Dealers had the ability removed from their Witech more than a year ago and IMO they'll never have it again. Special equipment is required and I have it. Feel free to send me a PM for details on how you can make the adjustment yourself.
