Wheel cleaner??

Struggling to find a wheel cleaner that I really love?? I have Fuel Hostage black painted wheels. Nothing does a fantastic job....What do you guys use?? I use foam tire cleaner so that’s easy but nothing I used really showed mt black wheels off....

Visit Autogeek and Autopia. You need a wheel cleaner to dissolve brake dust and iron deposits. Color changing cleaners like Sonax or McKees 37 are quality brands

Why use a wheel brightener for a painted wheel?

That is just what the product is called. It is safe for use on all finishes other than polished aluminum (rare you will ever see those). I use it on a lot of the vehicles I do as a detailer. Dilution ratio of 4:1 so you get a ton of use out of it.


I have tried CG Diablo Gel and it doesnt work nearly as well as Meguires Wheel Brightener

Yeah I looked that product up and realized that is 'just what they called it'. Kind of confusing. Looks like it might be a good product.

I was looking for a cleaner basically for my wifes durango wheels. I may try this.

i use LA's Totally Awesome an all purpose cleaner, degreaser. like adams 100% made in the USA, non-toxic and biodegradable and cheap $3 for a gallon of concentrated from the dollar store.

I really like the color changing iron deposit cleaners for dirty wheels and to freshen things up. I actually bought some Dub Wheel Cleaner from the parts store to compare to the Adam's Wheel Deep Cleaner. I honestly liked the Dub better and it is a far better price point. I have never used it on black wheels, but I loved it on everything I have used it for.

I bought the “hot wheels” pink cleaner. Makes wheels look like crap. Lots of streaks,,,hate it.

Meguires looks like a winner! Lol I bought the No Scrub Black Magic cleaner at first but it leaves white streaks on black wheels. And absolutely hate Hot Rims cleaner. Too harsh on black painted wheels...
