I would use the old wheels and tires if you have them and reserve the new wheels for the dryer months. Sonax rim and wheel shield.

I've never run really nice wheels in the winter. I use Bouncer's Looking Sweet wheel wax on my car and I love it. But, those wheels don't see winter.

Recent quote for ceramic coating for my whole truck was 750-1150 depending on which one I chose.

I used Poorboys Wheel Sealant on my Forces last year and it seemed to last for quite a while and perform decently. However if you really want a product to stand up a ceramic coating is the way to go for sure. Adam's Polishes recently came out with a new ceramic wheel coating that would definitely work good. I plan to try it out after I polish my Forces and put them back on in the spring.
