Hi,

I know the majority of 35x12.5x17 tires usually run a bit smaller than 35 inches. On this board a few brands were mentioned that tend to run true to size or even a tad larger.

Which brands are those again? I thought Toyo may be one of them....

Thanks ;)

Toyo and Nitto usually run a bit larger

BFG and goodyear always run smaller

do you have a brand and model you are looking at in particular? Usually the manufacturer site will list the actual size in the specs. I always look there for actual size and weight

Yea toyo and nitto are larger. Firestone is another one that’s smaller than said size.

Actual size is different no matter what brand, make sure to check that when looking.

I ended up with the Nitto G2 285/75R20 which are an actual 34.75" tall and 11.5" wide.
