Hi guys,
Winter officially hit Eastern Ontario, Canada, and I'm motivated to get some "snowies" now that I've handled rust-proofing and tonneau cover. I like the Nokian brand ( have loved their tires on my sedan ) and was hoping to get a set for the truck.
I drive a 2018 Night Edition Sport which came with Wrangler P275/60R20 114S tires. I've heard from some folks that for winter tires, I should drop down to a 17" rim, while others say staying at 20" is fine. I'd prefer to stay at 20" if the only difference is cost - thoughts on this?
As Eastern Ontario bans the use of studded tires, I've been told to target the Nokian R2 (SUV) tire as it is studdless:
R2 (SUV tire) - https://www.nokiantires.com/winter-tires/nokian-hakkapeliitta-r2-suv/
275/50R20 113 R XL
Thoughts on these specs - should they fit the truck, given what I'm currently using?
Many thanks in advance,
Yak
