WTB Center Console USB hub and wire harness - (68096426AD)?

Just picked up a new (to me) 2017 Ram 1500 Big horn with the Uconnect 8.4. I've got the USB option on the screen, but in the center console, I only have a 12v socket. I'm thinking I should be able to pick up the USB hub and harness and connect it to the Uconnect system. Wondering if anyone has this or more info for me. TIA

Got a pic?the media hub should be under the armrest of the console.unless someone added a console from a pre 2013 you should have at the least a USB hub there.

USB option is grayed out like there is nothing plugged in. Obviously no hub where there should be one. The truck has 9k on it so I can’t imagine the previous owner added the console?

Have never seen even a ra2 5.0 radio with out a USB. The media hub has just simply a mini USB cord coming from back of the radio it has a clip type fastener but a regular mini usb would work a factory one is like 25.00.the auxiliary port has a separate plug it does not go directly to the radio so I don't know where it ties in at.if the USB is grey on the radio you will have to have a sales code flashed for it. Post in the electronics forum.mpgrimm ,deereguy,or rlk will know more than me and can get you hooked up

Below where it says "Equipment listing" enter your VIN. It will list everything that was on the truck when it left the factory. In the optional equipment section of this list mine shows "Audio jack input for mobile devices" and "Remote USB Port" as well as other radio configuration. Under standard equipment there is also listed "Remote USB Port - Charge Only" That port is not an audio input. (This is on a Laramie. May not be standard on all models).

I think that even if you have a working USB input it will be grayed out until a device is plugged into it.

I would follow rbats advice on the vin.if the icon is on the radio if you had a USB it should work.the icon will be grey until you press it.what happens when you press it?the radio should display connect device .what happens when you use the steering wheel voice commands and say change source to usb?do you have a auxiliary jack somewhere?

Looks like the media hub is listed. Note that there are ZERO usb jacks and no aux input in my truck.

Looks like someone changed something after it left the factory. I guess you would have to find a replacement for the original parts. The good news is you should have the input connections in place for the radio.

The radio has a USB port on the back and the usb cable may be in the harness you will have to remove the radio to see if not you can purchase the jumper harness usb from the dealer. Do you want just the media hub and wiring or do you want the whole console lid ?

Pull the rear of the console off.the piece where the vents are that blow in the back.it just pulls off the connections for the lid connect here.take a pic.If the factory connections are there you will just a lid with the media hub.

For anyone curious, I did find the original window sticker for the truck as well. Looks like the floor console was a factory option, but it also states 40/20/40 bench seat

The only way to confirm is to check the harness coming from under the dash.this console to me shows some age.the dust on the inside seems to be a lot for a 2017.what does the top console bin look like it should be the new type with the phone holder.if the connectors are under the dash you will need a different console harness and a media hub lid.if they are not for whatever reason the truck didn't come with a media hub.I have never seen this before on a 2013 up ram.
