Quick mod I added to my express, had a roll of no slip mat laying around and some time. Got tired of every passenger putting their phone in the upper glove box which in the express isn't covered and having phones become deadly projectiles, so after a couple failed attempts I got the dimensions just right and slid the mat in. Drove into town around some winding highway and my phone didn't move an inch! Quick successful mod to make your upper glovebox a little more user friendly!image-2.jpg

Doing this within the week. Now that I'm thinking about it.
Wouldn't a piece of that kitchen cabinet padding work. The cheap ones they sell at dollar stores.

Woah... I've never seen a truck without the actual glove box up there... good idea though!

You can also just buy the door kit to make into an upper glove box.

Really good idea. Now I don't have to listen to my mp3 player or phone slide around while I have it plugged in up there.
I just bought an intermediate tool cabinet and need to buy some drawer liners... Now I know what I'll do with the leftovers.
Thanks.

My two glove boxes are still empty... 3.5 years later... just the owners manual, window sticker, iPod attachment still in the bag and that DVD that came with the truck... too far to reach over when I have the middle console to put stuff in... lol

I put the same stuff in my arm rest console. Got tired of hearing things slide around. It took a bit of time to cut all 3 piece out as I wanted to have the dividers up. But no more sliding. Only thing I suggest is to put some double side tape on them if they roll up from being on the larger roll, i have to do that for one of my pieces. I bought mine from Meijer and it was the kitchen cabinet liner stuff and looks like what you have.

85 bucks for the black kit.

To go with the grey, which his interior, just like mine, "calls" for, costs an additional $115.

Yup, $200 to go grey.

I'm going with black in mine, VERY FEW people will be able to tell there is the wrong color there.

Heh, This was the 2nd thing I did to my '13.
Did the inside of the glove box too. I hate **** rattling /sliding around.

Nicely done!
