So, I was set on doing the LED fog pods on my 14, and after getting all the lights and brackets I think I have decided to go a different direction. (may be selling the fog pod kit)

I am looking at using the OPT7 LED headlights and was wondering what LED fog lights people were using and how they looked. I also noticed the OPT7 says 6k color, is that about the same as the HID 6k? I am not really wanting that much of a blue tint, I kind of like the ultra white type color.

Thanks in advance.

The OPT7 headlights are great, but be prepared to re-aim your headlights because they are bright.

I personally have not used their fog lights but read the reviews and many are happy with the color but not the output. For the fogs I used Morimoto 9006 LED bulbs and they work great.

Yeah it really easy to aim, the OPT7 bulbs really make full use of the quad headlights. You won't regret them...

In the above photo I had opt7 low, highs and fogs. Like sitkneelbend stated, the color is awesome on the fogs but the distance is short.

I have them in my fogs and love 'em. Wide field of view and I'm happy with the distance.

Hmm. That picture helps. I may do both on them. The cooler isn't as blue as I thought. Not bad.

Glad we could help. It seems that the last couple months many folks are either changing out to led/hid or headlights altogether.
I did the led's first and then changed to these

Some folks don't care for the double halos but I think these are nice and for the money I couldn't beat it. You can see in the lower halo the tip of the red opt7 high beam led.

I would like projector headlights. Especially now that I got the LED tails from the for sale section.

These are aftermarket. Brand is Spyder and the have many options. They are double halo projectors. I am in the process of changing my low beam to led's as they come with halogens in the low beam. High beam is empty as well as turn signal.
Really plug and play except for two wires that need to be connected to give the halos and other led's power. Price range is between $185 up to $280. They also sell bundles with the headlights and tails.
For me I just didn't want to spend $800 for used headlights. I would love to have factory projectors but the price just told me "no".[emoji15]

I Have the Opt7 LED bulbs in my fogs. In the one pic below, you can see the difference between the halogen OEM bulb and the LED Opt7 bulb. I like them a lot.

I think the 13+ fogs screw up the light output.
Mine with HIDs are so frekin bright. I could probably drive without my headlights on.

I like those LEDs though.

Yeah, I just cannot see how vertical reflectors for the fogs would be better than horizontal.

Ok, I'm somewhat upset with Opt7 customer service. I have been emailing them for the dimensions of their h1 led's. Instead of them giving me the information they just say they should fit if it's H1. What they continue to fail to see is that the entrance for the h1 is very narrow in the projectors.
They even had the nerve to say that we see you have hid's ordered so why do you still need the information on the led's. What happened to trying to help out a customer in a very wide field where I can switch to another maker? Wow, I love their products but damn their customer service...

Thats ashame, I had good feedback and support when I had issues with my tailgate light bar. They exchanged it with no issues and in a timely manner.

And why do you have HIDs on order? LOL:roflsquared:

If the led's don't fit I have to have a back up plan. The other led's I ordered will be here this week and if all is good the opt7 hid's will be shipped back to them quickly

A side note, I missed a massive chance on CCFL smoked headlights that Car ID was selling on ebay. It was described as fitted but not used and in new condition. They had it for 236 plus 26 delivery which is not great as brand new they go for this much. However on Thanksgiving, when I added it to my "cart" in ebay it gave me a massive discount to bring total to approx $169 inc delivery. I hummed and thought about it, next day that procedure didnt work anymore. No matter, getting the black housing CCFL ones from OEMassive if they accept my best offer.

I was also going to ask you a question, is it possible not have those "silly, to me" LED dots wired up when I fit mine?
