Hi All,
Just picked up a 2016 Ram Mopar Rebel 4X4. #452 of 500. I can't say the dealer I used was that swift. But I got the truck at what I believe was a good price...
Lot's of dealers have no idea how to deal with special edition vehicles...
I don't know if anyone has mentioned it, but the Rebel I got came with two sets of rims.... Usually every time I have bought a special edition vehicle, it is ready to go out the door to the customer... This time things have gone different. While inspecting the Rebel to take delivery I saw four large boxes in the bed. The salesman immediately said " Those are the stock rims off your vehicle" They come with all Mopar Rebels. I mentioned why my Mopar Rebel had Black and Chrome wheels when the Mopar Rebel is advertised with Black Satin wheels. He said " The rims on the truck are what Mopar went with" Once I got home I opened a rim box out of the bed... Low and behold there were the Black Satin Rims. So, the next morning I go back to the dealer and say, I would like the correct rims put on the truck. To which the Manager answers " Those are just free extra rims you get" I explain they are the special edition rims. He agrees and says " But we don't put those on" At that point I could not believe he was that stupid that he would deliver a special edition vehicle without all the pieces on the vehicle. In the end they have agreed to put the rims on this Monday. But they still say they don't have to put them on they are just being nice... Plese chime in on this one...
