Washing my truck today, I noticed my passenger side fog light was cracked. So, I’m on the market for either an OEM replacement or aftermarket, but was curious if anyone has aftermarket fogs and how they look on the truck. I saw morimoto has an LED assembly and the LED pod brackets. 2017 1500 Sport, vertical fog lights.

I like my Morimoto XB vertical fogs. Not the absolute brightest, but they are definitely more than adequate, and put the light where it needs to be. There are so many "my HIDs/LEDs in the factory housings work fine, there isn't any glare" opinions out there that, quite honestly, I am not sure I believe. Any LEDs/HIDs I've seen in factory reflector-based housings not designed for them have glare that blinds oncoming drivers someway or another.

Not my truck below, but it is a picture of them installed from one site that sells them. Can be found for anywhere from $200-$250, depending on the site. Some try to sneak in outrageous shipping charges, so be wary of the ones that claim to be lower.

Damn, i didn’t even think of adjusting the pods to give better side lighting. Pretty good idea!

I have the Morimotos in my HD ...am not impressed with them

Ya they are only 1000 lumens so they don’t shine far but I guess they had to do that to be DOT certified. Be nice if they double the lumens

Where did you get your brackets for the LED pods? And which pods did you use?
Mine are Baja Designs, the brackets came with the set. BD are outstanding and pricey but I had a credit I needed to use. There is another set on the web and ebay that sell for about 130.00 with brackets that look good as well but I don't think they have yellow. They also sell the brackets separately if you wanted different pods.

It's a Ranch Hand Grill Guard - #GGD09HBL1. My son added the cage around the Hella HID off-road lights.
I also have a Ranch Hand on my 2006 Ford F350 - great guard IMO

Do u have the link for the eBay pods with bracket I can’t find them

Hi did you have to run a relay or resistor? Installed two squadron sport on both fogs, they flash on them cut off.

I don't have an aftermarket solution, but anyone with a 2018 with cracked foglights.. My dealer replaced mine under warranty. They were both cracked from rocks I guess.. I have wrapped them in bright yellow vinyl to protect them and it just looks good.
