Found them on Amazon a few ago. Just one concern...anybody catch crap for LED’s like these not being DOT approved? I see them all over VA, the LED cubes and bars on every ither Wrangler...VA used to be they had to be covered if not DOT...I think...we have enforced tint laws, state ispections...etc

Never heard of that before. I would think if something like that was being highly enforced, there would be an issue in the LED headlight market. Can't even think of how an officer would be able to come up with the determination from one vehicle to another as to who is legal and who is not, other than someone not adjusting correctly and blinding oncoming traffic.

I am familiar with Mictuning products, but would like to see what those flush mounts look like in the slits when they are not turned on. A few other poor saps like you and me got the ****** bumper that nobody makes a clean fit fog for. I have seen a few guys put other flush mount leds in those slits, I have not seen a pic with the Mictuning yet. Can you throw a pic up whenever you get a chance.

Thanks.

I bought a mictuning harness to wire them to keep away from warranty issues, then bought a 4 chanel remote they are wired through and synced them to homelink button #1. #2 homelink is now behind grill pods and #3 is our gate

They look great. VA has a bunch of rules on a state inspection. Could always throw a piece of black gaffer tape over them at yearly inspection I guess. That would be a get around.
Ramm, does the wiring harness connect in for shut off when HiBeams come on? Or is it pure power and switch seperate of that ?

What!?!?! I don’t know if reusing the HomeLink buttons for other things is common but this is the first time I’ve heard of it and I think it’s GENIUS! So the lights have a wireless receiver and then you just programmed the remote code to homelink? How didn’t I think of that.

Sorry your thread went sideways thundermug! I wired them independant of factory wiring so no warranty issues and can turn them on as needed.
Yes jonathan, a 4 chanel remote

018EBEBA-DD55-4903-9CE0-80F954598C60.jpeg Got a decision to make. I could go the lights in the tow hook area or I can do the push bar and put the lights on that...I really like this pushbar. Lights/lightbar mounts above the plate logo...

So now I have a Pedal Commander shipping to me this week. Did some vinyl badge overlays this weekend, with another set in the mail too. Gloss black on the chrome. Looks niiiice.
Thinking next:
1. Front tint to match rear tint...anybody know the oem %?
2. Pushbar with Led’s or led’s like Ramm has above in tow hooks slots
3. All weather floor mats
4. Door sill protectors...
Pretty much all the major stuff is done and content, but its my hobby.

I live in NC and the only thing I've heard of cops hassling people for is colored LED lights like that, especially red or blue. I think as long as they are used responsibly the white ones are not an issue.
