There are only a couple mentions buried in other threads around Lifting or Leveling those of us with the Air Ride Suspension so I wanted to start a new thread specifically about the air suspension for the 2019’s.

CFT Performance has a link kit that is designed to level the front end and if kept at the factory setting says it does not require an alignment and causes no error messages with the EVIC system. I called them this morning to ask if they were compatible with the 2019’s and the answer I received was that they have installed them on some 2019’s with no issue but others have reported that they are not even close to the same so his thought was that Ram transitioned out the old style at some point. Here is the link to the product.

http://cftperformance.com/ram-air-lift-level-kit-front-links-only/

I went out and took some pictures of mine this morning and it looks slightly different. It looks like both the top and the bottom just pop off and there is no nut or bolt to unfasten. Looking for anyone who has some more mechanical experience or who has tried it to weigh in here. Or any other options out there.

Mine (2019 2WD Limited)

They just pop off. Take a bit of a tug. Do the end on the sensor last because they pop off easier at a bigger angle and you don't want to damage the sensor arm. It's just plastic. The replacement links are threaded and you lengthen the rears to raise the back and shorten the front to make it higher.

Are there different ones specifically for the 2019’s than the ones I linked to above? I guess the part that looks different is that it doesn’t look like I can unscrew the ball part of the socket on either end.

The balls stay in place. The arms have socket ends. Oe ones are fixed length and aftermarket level links are threaded for adjustment. They are just a press fit ball and socket joint.

OP - thanks for this, I was taking pictures of mine yesterday LOL. I guess Ram doesn't want anyone removing the ball socket studs.

Josh at CFT told me theirs does not fit 2019. Revel said they are checking fitment and will get back to me shortly. I asked them if they could make a kit with just the front links.

Here is a pic of the sensor arm showing the end of the ball socket stud. Maybe the stud does screw in to the arm. IMG_8887.jpg

Ok, I just saw in another thread that you used the Revel links. Those appear to be different than the ones from CFT as the Revel ones use the original ball studs.

You also mentioned that you didn’t like the ride. Anything in particular you didn’t like?

The ride was stiffer and the truck bounced around. It raises the truck by increasing the air pressure because it tricks it into thinking there's a load and it needs to add pressure to maintain height. Also lowers the load capacity before you get an error from overload.

Thanks for the review. I have speed bumps in my neighborhood so when I pulled in I raised it up to Off-Road 2 and drove like I normally would. Those speed bumps were a lot worse to go over. Think I am going to hold off and just enjoy the new truck for a while and see if anything starts coming out in terms of lifts.

Please post back your experience if you end up pulling the trigger.

Sounded like a good plan initially, but I don't see a whole of guys doing this lift/leveling so I'm thinking maybe it's not a good idea. It's an easy mod but I really love the ride in "normal" mode. So much so that I turned off the automatic aero mode.

I get it. I would like a little more lift and it does seem easy enough but there is a noticeable difference just going over speed bumps in my neighborhood from normal mode to OR2. So until the new wears off I am just going to fight the urge and keep her stock.

I'm still thinking about it. I don't like the rake is my problem. LOL

Raising this one from the dead. Anyone else find a lift or level for the air suspension? Or put on the adjustable links and have a good experience? I messaged BDS about an ETA for a lift but have not heard back as of yet. Will post back if I do.

I haven't. I did notice that the UCA on the 2" mopar lift has the ball socket stud for the air ride links so maybe an option will arise in the future.

I don't want to mess with the links since I like the stock ride.

My other issue is I can only lift up to 2" u see my Mopar lifetime warranty so BDS is not an option since they typically go 4" for air ride.

Just curious, are you guys after getting rid of the rake - app 2” lift in the front - or are you after more lift and if so can I ask why? Is it looks or wanting bigger tires? As far as I understand a 35 would fit with a 2” lift, which a level gives, so if that could be achieved in a “good” way would that solve it? I looked at BDS and AEV’s products for previous models and see that it is basically just metal brackets for a 4 or a 6” lift. For me that is way too much and if I were to do something I would also be looking for an improvement in handling on-road and off-road - which this clearly is not.

For me, I just like the look of a higher truck.

On my last truck (16 Big Horn), I put the Bil’s at 2.8 on the front and put 35 inch Nitto Terra Grappler G2’s 285/65R20 on. On that truck it felt like it rode a little better which I am guessing was a combination of better shocks and more tire. Not a marked improvement but a little better.
