So I heard back from Benny, here's the link to the new RF hub. This one only works for the three button key fob. Not the one for the push button start as far as I know.

SO now I need to decide if I want to try it lol

It makes perfect sense now that you mention it. I didn't even think about the fact that his truck is a single cab. There's a very good chance that's what the difference is even though I don't understand why they wouldn't make the Auto Up feature an option on the single cab.

Cuz us regular cab guys have strong "window up" fingers and don't need it.... hahaha!!!

Im thinking about trying to enable SmartBeam on my truck....is there a way to know if the sensors already exist?

Truck didnt come WITH SmartBeam (of course) but does have the automatic dimming rear view. Parts list shows different parts for trucks with LMS (sales code for SmartBeam) but maybe it would still work anyway?

You will need to replace the mirror with a 17 mirror (no mics) first that has the Auto High Beam to enable it (AHBM/SmartBeam). Don't use a mirror from a 13-16 truck ( w/mics).
I'm not sure what the PN is for the 17 & 18 trucks, but contact forum vendor AllmoparParts.com (Benny) & he can likely get you the PN.
If you do let me know and I will update the mirror thread with the info.

Havent contacted anyone about part numbers but based on the sales code (LMS = Auto High Beams) and parts diagrams I have (direct from Tech Authority website), there are 2 possible parts:

68295862AA (with sales code RS7)
68295863AA (without sales code RS7)

What sales code RS7 is I have no idea, I cant find it in the big PDF I have of all the sales codes.

EDIT: managed to find RS7 - "RS7 UCONNECT ACCESS ADVANTAGE RD AUDIO/VIDEO SYSTEMS"

Strange.

[GNK] is Auto dim
[LMS] is Auto high beam
[RS7] is "Connected vehicle" which seems to mean any vehicle with a cell connection

So xxxx5863 would be a non-connected vehicle with auto dim and auto high beams.

I dont think there is a 2017 mirror with mic?

I just so happen to have a Mirror from a 17 truck that has the AHBM/SmartBeam sensor and no mics that I won't be using... was going to post it on the For Sale forum, just haven't gotten around to it. Pretty sure it has the auto dim sensor as well.

Got my mx a few minutes ago.

Going to remove fog light dropout on high beam and switch to Laramie startup logo.

I'll mess with the led light settings too. But don't want to go crazy while I learn this new software.

So i changed my 8.4 screen to SRT - supposedly will have srt apps mine doesnt, does anybody else have their srt apps enabled, i have uconnect and still on my 1st year trial.

The only thing it does is gives you the SRT splash screen at boot. I was hoping the same but unfortunately, no. There’s even a setting for radio apps present but that didn’t do anything for me either.

I thought on one of the apps I read that it wont enable if you have ever had UConnect Access enabled (even if just the trial). But Im not sure as Ive never tried it.

If you’re referring to the boot screen on the evic it’s in special packages I believe under car configuration change.

Power fold mirrors when locking/unlocking/keyless entry
Auto roll down windows with keyfob
Multiple camera inputs Front/Sides/Cargo
Regen notice on evic
Stereo volume same when starting/turning off (if off stays off)
Always show transmission gear in evic

The one thing I noticed with this app....I cant connect to the Transmission module.

The only option I saw was 8HP45, i tried to connect but it failed (I have the 8HP70).

Anyone else?
