What did you use to cut the tape to get that fine edge along your mask line? Looks amazing

Haha thanks, the only cutting was at the bottom ends. I just started at the bottom using the flare as a guide, hold your left index finger down on the tape, unroll maybe 6-10” with other hand holding tape away from body, then use your left index finger to kinda position/place/rub it down as you go. The first one was the hardest and I did re-do the masking tape once before I got the motion down.

Just curious, why did you remove them after 8 months?

I installed them a couple days after the lift, so I just wanted to change the look some. I still have them in the garage.

So there was no cutting of the ppf?

No. Not nearly as much as the $550. Bushwackers. Another reason I went with Tyger. I don't ever plan on going much wider or bigger tire. These cover, look good and don't look cartoon like.

JB1,
Yours seem to be not as tall as the tyger ones and are not notched out at the headlight.

I tried looking for those cannot find them i even search for RAM 2500 flare, no luck.

if you have time can you take measurement how far they stick out and also how tall they are?

the tyger ones are 5" tall and stick out 2.6" in front and 2" in rear...

Also!!! I look on mopar parts site and that part number does not even look like the same flare.... ughhh

Tire size has always been the determining factor for me if the flares look good more so than color. Tires need to be pretty damn big ( not counting wheel spacers) to justify a flare so the flares don't make the truck look too big for the tires again . From what I see not many agree with me.

agreed thats why my other flares looked fine. soon as I wear these factory shoes down im buying 35's anyhow so I'm not worried too much about tire size at the moment.
