Yes yes, i know this will be met with hostility or silly comments but I'm just being truthful. read my older posts. i loved it when i first bought it but now that I've had it a while i can't stand it.

ok let me clarify. the body is amazing. the interior is amazing. its the best truck in its class for looks. its the small things i just can't get over (but have to and am willing to deal with it) such as those darn door hold-open mechanism. WHAT was RAM thinking??

..design a massive truck, all manly, decked out with manly things, bleeding testosterone, and then cut corners on door hold-open mechanisms that are sized for a Prius. Every single time someone new gets in my truck i have to warn them that the doors close ridiculously easy. and not only that, when they get out, i then have to warn them that the doors swing back at you ridiculously easy as well. go open your door with normal momentum and without babying it, and it'll swing either half way shut or fully shut.

is it petty? sure. but its my truck and i can say it and the door is used EVERY time you use the truck. so when i open the door i have to be extra careful that it doesn't bash the wall, or the return-cart basket at Home Depot, or another car. its so annoying.

Next... RAM itself. in one of my posts i asked if the air vent in the glovebox has a filter. I called RAM and found out it does not. i get leaves in my glove box constantly because of this. Im not doing that hack from online of cutting out the door and installing my own. so stupid.

Third... have the radio turn off when you start the freaking truck. yes the work around is to lower the volume but come on RAM.

Fourth... there is NO place for me to store my entire DVD collection of LOST in the CENTER console. it will NOT fit. go try it. it won't fit. who designs a truck without taking into consideration the LOST television series????

Talk me out of my complaints and ill change my mind.

Donate it to me...:D
Now that the silly is out of the way

What trim do you have, Bighorn, crew cab etc?
As for the doors, yes I agree but I don't lose any sleep over that, same with Radio.
How are you getting leaves in the glovebox? I have the filter behind the glovebox which has a door on it but there should be no opening to the glovebox. And WHY do you need Lost in the truck, do you watch it while driving? Besides I don't think any other truck brand has a larger storage area unless you have the front bench seat, I have the center console which is big enough for Lost to get lost in.

Bighorn. there is no door in mine. Lost is essential. i thought everyone watches it while driving

when you pull out the glovebox door, and look in the cavity i can see all the way into the engine compartment more or less.

WOW, OP, U ok??? NE way, your truck. If not happy with it, sell/trade in for something else. MY 19 Bighorn works, does not have some things, but hey, it's mine.

A big hole from glove box to engine??? Something not right, missing there. As far as doors, kinda like OK...If they open and close, I am happy.

But then I am a simple person, easy, older, senility and dementia sometimes sets in, LMAO

Take it easy OP, just refer back to Line #1 this post.....ALl above IMHO.......

There is a solution for your problems, give the truck away and take Uber or Lyft...the rest of the drivers on the road will greatly appreciate it..

I can understand the frustrations to a point. I owned two current gen F150s before getting the 18 RAM. The F150 center console storage is easily double the size of the RAM. But, to me it was wasted space. I prefer the Split storage of the RAM even though the lower section isn't as large as the F150.

Granted, I have a Laramie Crew but it is far superior to the 15 or 17 F150 I owned previously. It just drives so much better and the seating is far more comfortable to me. Also, the 8.4" UConnect is light years better than Stink 3 (I mean Sync 3). I will take these pluses over a stiff door hinge any day. In all cases I have had a cabin filter so maybe you should rethink adding that.

This sure seems like part complaint, part snark. Not being hostile, but the Lost thing is...just weird. (I watched one episode, sounded like Beach Party Bingo meets General Hospital, and I walked away...)

As for the door thing, I have a '17 Big Horn. Seems like the hold mech is about the same as my '07. Center console is smallish, but all I had before in there were CD's, and I burned all my music to a USB stick. I wish the media center was a little faster when I do a search against the USB, but I'll live.

Never had a leaf in my glovebox. But I'll keep an eye out.

I did see a puddle under my truck once - guess it was testosterone.

Interesting post, though.

I do not know how to advise you regarding the DVD thing. I also don’t know what mean by LOST. You see, as an old Marine I get misoriented at times but Never Lost so I will leave this to my Navy brethren to advise you further.

Your pickup issues are real. I believe you should donate the entire debacle to me for free. This way You can win by getting rid of your problem & I can continue with your suffering. I’m there for you man!
