$800 mil or more, is serious money for FCA. Could impact their ability to replace cams and correct exhaust leaks.
They know what they're doing. It's probably cheaper to lie for them. Remember the EPA is getting tighter on MPG requirements, which makes it tougher to manufacturer and keep up the technology... Especially when everyone else is cheating lol. I'm sure they still coming.e out ahead with the profit marginWhat i dont understand is, is how these companies think they`re going to get away with falsifying emissions on these vehicles today. (VW for example?)
Big brother watches EVERYTHING YOU DO! When people fear their gov`t, the gov`t is out of control and way to big.
Do you want the EPAs or FCAs answer? Given the lightness if penalty I think FCA is closer to truth. Remember unlike VW where emission system only operated during a test FCA operates most of the time. Only turns off on certain combination of sensor inputs, this is legal and every car does it. Question is did they properly disclose and get exceptions approved.Did they falsify or just not do the paperwork correctly.
