Leveling kit

So I have a 2014 Dodge ram crew cab and I want to put a 3" leveling kit on the front end. What do I need to do to the back end if anything at all? I have heard that lifting the front lowers the back. Can someone provide insight please??

The back end is Usually 1.5-2 inches taller than the front to compensate for load. The leveling kit brings up The front Of the truck To match the rear. Personally I haul alot so having the leveling kit on with a load makes thr truck appear tapped out on the load bumps (usually not tho) plus with that done and a load on your headlights are at the tops of The trees. Had one on my old Truck and it wasn't bad but if hauling any load get yourself some good airbags to make it ride level With load. Also does your level come with control Arms, bump. Stops and diff drop? Dodges like to pop The upper ball joint with leveling kits and at 3 inches of angle Youll be taking out Cv axles Alittle faster without a diff drop. This said many have gotten away with just the level lift pucks and never had an issue hit and miss I'd say.

What if any do i have to concern myself with when it come to OEM parts and wear and tear on my truck? Cuz id like to eventually put 2" wheel spacers on IF i dont have much concern of destroying my truck??? Thanks for the response though

Been running wheel spacers on everything I own without any mechanical issues. Hub centric is definately your friend when it comes do these. Handling might be a bit dodgey not sure how your roads are but here in northern Canada the highway trucks rut the roads about 1-3 inches with spacers you kinda pinball back and fourth a bit lol. I'm not currently running a lift on this truck, decided i wanted it to be easier on fuel. My last one had a 4 inch with 2.5 spacers. Never had an issue. I've installed many of these kits though. Just don't go cheap.

I just had Bilstein 5100's installed to level out the front end. The height difference between the center of the front wheel well to the rear was originally about 2.75". I had the Bilstein's set at the 2.1 setting. The height difference afterwards was about 1". I still wanted a little rake in the front end for carrying an occasional load. The 2.8 setting will give you the most level stance, but will also give you more sag when carrying anything. Others who have gone with that setting have used a spacer in the rear like 1" to help with that. The 2.1 setting is fine with stock upper control arms. You may need to look into replacing them at the 2.8 setting. Not sure about that though.

What are your ground to fender measurements now. This project requires you to use a spring compressor and reasonable know how with proper spring clocking and an alignment afterwards. By the sounds of it you may just want a shop to do it

It’s not a big project so it’s not that expensive to have installed. But it’s not the kind of thing you want to just dive into with minimal tools and knowledge. I was just skimming your posts and it seems you were getting advice without the basic questions answered like what your measurements are and what drive is your truck. I bought my 2012 used and it had a leveling kit on it already and I had no idea.

Its a 2WD. Im quite certain there is nothing in there as ot has a 3" (i think) difference from back to front. I just want to sit it up a little higher for looks really. Dont want to sink a bunch of money into it but dont want to go cheap, and i have colleagues that would help if needed that are saavy in this field.

What engine is in your truck?
Hopefully @Maxtrac Suspension will chime in. They offer a lot for the 2wd applications

I don't have a URL to provide. I got this information from reading a multitude of Bilstein 5100 threads on this site to see what others have done before I pulled the trigger on getting mine installed.
