Anyone in the Tampa Bay Area with this? I’ll slide some cash if avaliable to meet up.

If not, can you lend me a source to the proper equipment ?

The fuse tap seemed to work at first, but once it was shifted into drive, the programmed code tried to overrule.

Now it’ll be “due to more wiring issues with the ram, there will be a 3 month wait as we fix some issues with the headlights. Stick with us cause the wait is worth it”

This is solely due to the fact I have a sales code for a DRL program that is conflicting with the lights, nothing to do with the wiring nor the lamps themselves...

Do what? Get out of here. If you honestly have nothing productive to contribute because you've canceled then please refrain from posting unless you have legitimate questions.

This is being caused by something that was done by a dealer who did the procedure incorrectly. This has nothing to do with the headlights and their performance.

If you ever find yourself in North West Florida I could help you out. I have Alfa but I don't have the security bypass cable because my 2014 doesn't require it.

Thank you for the offer. I’ll probably suck it up and end up purchasing the tools needed for AlphaOBD. So long as they work for night time driving without issue I’ll make do for now. Just glad they’re here!

Quick daytime shot (not sure why it didn’t upload in 720p)...somehow the DRL were working correctly with the fuse tap. Not sure if that’s a fluke or not.[/QUOTE]

They look great! You say you are using the fuse tap? Why I asked, I think the bottom DRL is supposed to drop out on the side the signal light is on when activated, unless of course, morimoto changed the programing. Perhaps others who have installed the new lights can chime in.

I understand this to be the default setting. There is a member who has programmed their sequencing of both DRL bars to turn off upon activation of the turn signal.

You'll have to set drl drop out to enabled with alphaobd or AE if you decide to change the programming

I used alfaobd to set my current projector signals to DRL, when I receive & install my morimoto lights, Is this the setting I need for the new lights as well??
