Morimoto headlights

They look great! You say you are using the fuse tap? Why I asked, I think the bottom DRL is supposed to drop out on the side the signal light is on when activated, unless of course, morimoto changed the programing. Perhaps others who have installed the new lights can chime in.

The DRL doesn't drop out when using the fuse tap. Instead the lower bar closer to the turn signal dims a little bit when the signal is applied then goes back to full power after the signal is turned off.

My DRL turn off because I programmed them to function that way using the Alfa OBD tool.

Makes sense now, I was under the assumption the dropout was internal to the lights. Thanks for clarifying.

That’s good, make that money while you can. I work 5am to 6pm myself plus 8 on Saturdays, the money is great but not much time for anything else. I’m really looking forward to this long Easter weekend.

Got mine in today. Big thank you to M2MODS, ARTH, and many others. Added wiring for dedicated DRL's, reprogrammed with AlfaOBD.
Truck had all needed male pins to mate too .

Use fuse tap wiring to go directly to DRL's, work just like a factory projector light now.

Will see how they work tonite, but very impressed at this point.
