I'm looking at the Core 4x4 Panhard / Track Bar. For those of you that have upgraded this could you tell a difference and do you think it is worth it?

So... I went ahead and purchased the Core 4x4 Panhard / Track Bar. I will post if I notice any difference after I have it installed. FYI... code "Hot Damn" will get you a discount.

What truck is this for? If for a 2500, I would highly suggest the Thuren setup. It changes the geometry also, which is poor on the 2500, instead of just changing the bar... way better setup.

It is going on my 2019 1500. I recently put the Fabtech 6" lift on which did also relocate it accounting for the lift. Thanks for the info though, always good to learn something new!

so why is the thuren rear panhard better than the core4x4 bar?

Because it not only raises the bar mount on the axle, but lengthens the bar by A LOT. 2500’s have a very odd rear handling characteristic to them, which the Thuren bar greatly improves.

The length is adjustable on the core4x4 and he already has a relocation bracket that came with his lift kit sooooo

I understand. Im just saying, thurens axle mount moves toward the tire a lot along with moving up. Im not talking about adjusting it a half inch or something, im talking like 8 or 10 inches longer. It completely changes the rear geometry, unlike his bracket did with his lift kit.

Thats why apologized in my second post. I had a brain fart.

And yes, Thurens got some nice quality stuff. He has a small kit for the 4th gen half tons, so maybe he will be working on something for the 5th gens?!

All good info. I did check out their site, and I didn't really see too much for the 2019 1500's. It does look like they make good quality stuff, so probably worth checking it out down the road some.

No he dosnt have anything for the 5th gens yet. He really didnt have much even for the 4th gen half tons... hes more geared toward hd trucks.

That’s cool. My buddy has a 2018 2500 and I’m passing the info on to him.

I have read nearly zillions of reviews on his suspension for ram 2500s. There is literally nothing out there but super excited and happy customers.

I have a power wagon, which has quite a bit better ride quality than a normal 2500. And his kit is largely better than the stock power wagon suspension in terms of ride quality and performance. There will be a fair bit of payload loss in comparison to a normal 2500, but nothing bags couldn't take care of if he tows heavy.
