I heard the 4" kit would for sure be out by December of last year! From what I've seen and read I wouldn't hold my breath on that 1-2 months. If you are looking for a 6" kit I recommend the Fabtech 6" performance kit.

I know when I called they would not confirm anything but hinted to the fact they will make one ? I’m keeping my eyes open to see what will truly happen lol.2dbe29ee21e174ce0242ce5e6ce2ec65.jpg

Damn and a full $1k less than FabTech
I know I saw that but just from what I can tell from their pics I think the Fabtech lift I got looks to be better quality IMO

I wouldn’t use that BDS kit if it were the only one available. I find it hard to believe that BDS would sell a kit for $2k plus that uses 6” spacers on stock struts and use progressive full spring replacements in the rear. Kind of a joke.

The Fab Tech performance kit is a much better design, there is no way I’d go more than a leveling kit on an IFS truck without using correctly sized struts. 6” spacers no f’ing way

I could see having a spacer kit setup for the guys who want lift on a budget... but at over 2 grand I would not consider that a budget spacer lift at all.

Yeah I agree, also wouldn’t do a spacer that large just my opinion, fab tech offers a 6” spacer kit as well but we went with new coil overs. I guess I’m surprised that BDS isn’t offering a coil over kit as well.

Im sure they will. Im sure there will eventually be all sorts of upgrades to the kit. Too new at the moment, though.

I just spoke to BDS about their 6" lift that is out. While it is a very well built kit it utilizes a coil spacer in the front and you use the OEM shock and coil. About a year on a coil over or upgrade plus new upper control arms are a $700 option.
I'm pretty disappointed with BDS on this one as it seems to be a rush job. The kit may be nice but I'd put it more along the lines off a Rough Country lift than the Fabtech lift and that's a Shame. So Fabtech will be my lift in about a month.
Not sure on tire brand but they will be a 35x12.50.

As far as wheels I'm looking at the Sota 561SB Novakane

Should be sweet.

Coilovers in about a year. The BDS rep actually was making excuses as it takes time to develop. Yeh it does and BDS hasn't taken the time.

FabTech loft with coil overs has been out quite a while. R&D time is a bad excuse at this point.

And the truth will always find it’s way out. And that truth here is that BDS isn’t the “gold star” of lift kits, I’m not sure how that ever became a thing. They really aren’t nicer than the other “premium” brands and even fox shocks... they aren’t THAT good. They got lucky and social media put them on some pedestal. Now every hee haw thinks he’s got some hoss suspension because it’s got a bds kit with fox shocks. Meanwhile the truth is that all these kits are basically the same, diff drops and spindles.

Dirt logic shocks are equally as nice, AND been around for decades as an OG in this area. Same with king, icon, sways, FOA, and I could keep going. They are slightly more money but fox shocks are really just the best mid level shock that’s out before you spend the money on the next level.

No offense to anyone who runs this bds/fox, it’s good stuff it’s just not superior to a fabtech dirt logic kit.

Plus this kit is 2k now, so probably going to be 3200-3400 with the coilovers? Same price as fabtech.

Superlift has their basic kit in development, and at “some point” is going to have a king kit.

This is always the case with dodge, new GM trucks came out at the same time and we got pushed to the side while people make product for those because historically there’s so much more demand.

/soap box

Edit: one more thing about BDS

So they posted on IG saying “we are starting to see more and more of these kits being installed and they look great” or something to the effect. But yet the ONLY photo they have ever posted is the original black rebel stock photo they use on the site. So I commented something like “then why are you only posting this stock photo? Where are the other trucks with this kit”.

They deleted it.

Which is third time they have done this to me on IG when I post a comment that isn’t fluffing them or asking about sales. Not the type of place I really like to associate with.
