hey guys,

In the process of buying a 13’ ram 2500 outdoorsman. Seems to be a quality truck. 125000 kms. The dealership told me they had done the emission deletes and added a bully dog tuner after it was traded in.
I can’t find much info on the bully dog tuner with diesels. Any info on the quality of tuner that this is would be great. Thanks

I'm not deleted but have read a lot of delete threads on the cummins forum. I would say the bullydog is not the first choice for a tuner from what I have seen. I think it's considered more of a canned generic tuner as apposed to going to some of the other options available. Lot's of info over on that forum more related to the cummins then here.

Surprised a dealer deleted it. Maybe that okay north of the border but wouldn't fly down here.

On a side note, if you get it drive it carefully. Tuned trucks like to eat that transmission if not treated right.

Yes thanks for the info.
Right now I have a ram 1500 with the Hemi fever under the t1000, would I be able to tune a diesel with this one if I removed it from mine and downloaded a different tune for the Cummins?

I don't think so. Never heard of anyone running that on a diesel. They are pretty specific.
